Shipping Policy

Last updated: September 2026

At SIGTEA, we aim to make your shopping experience as simple and convenient as possible. This Shipping Policy explains how orders are processed, dispatched and delivered when you purchase products from our website.

By placing an order with SIGTEA, you agree to the terms of this Shipping Policy, together with our Terms & Conditions, Returns & Refund Policy, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

Nothing in this Shipping Policy affects your statutory consumer rights.

1. Shipping Availability

SIGTEA currently offers shipping to customers in the United Kingdom and may also accept orders from other countries and regions where delivery is available at checkout.

Shipping availability may vary depending on the product, destination, operational restrictions or other circumstances.

If a destination is unavailable, this will generally be indicated during the checkout process.

2. Free Shipping

SIGTEA may offer free shipping on eligible orders.

Where free shipping is advertised, the applicable eligibility requirements will be displayed on the website or during checkout.

Free shipping does not necessarily mean that all available delivery services or delivery upgrades are free of charge.

Where alternative or expedited delivery options are available for an additional fee, the applicable charge will be displayed before you complete your purchase.

3. Order Processing

After you place an order, we will process it for dispatch.

Orders are generally processed during our normal business operations. Processing may take additional time during:

  • weekends and public holidays;

  • promotional periods;

  • seasonal periods with unusually high order volumes;

  • periods of unexpected demand; or

  • circumstances affecting our fulfilment operations.

Your order will normally be dispatched once the relevant items have been prepared for shipment.

The time required to process an order is separate from the time required for the order to travel to its destination.

4. Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times may vary depending on:

  • your delivery address;

  • the product ordered;

  • stock and fulfilment location;

  • shipping method;

  • courier or postal service;

  • weekends and public holidays; and

  • circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Any delivery timeframe displayed on the website or provided during checkout should be treated as an estimate unless expressly stated otherwise.

We do not guarantee a particular delivery date unless we have expressly agreed to one.

Where a specific delivery timeframe is legally required, your statutory rights will apply.

5. Dispatch Confirmation and Tracking

Where tracking is available for your order, we may provide tracking information after the order has been dispatched.

Tracking information may take some time to become active after the parcel has been handed to the relevant delivery provider.

Once tracking information has been provided, you may be able to monitor the progress of your shipment directly through the relevant delivery service.

Not all shipping methods or destinations necessarily provide tracking.

6. Delivery Address

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address when placing your order.

Please carefully check:

  • your full name;

  • house or building number;

  • street name;

  • town or city;

  • postcode;

  • country; and

  • any additional delivery instructions.

SIGTEA cannot be responsible for delivery delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete address information supplied by the customer, subject always to your statutory rights.

If you realise that you have provided an incorrect address, please contact us as soon as possible at:

Email: contact@sigtea.com

We will make reasonable efforts to assist, but we cannot guarantee that an address can be changed once an order has entered the dispatch process.

7. Delivery Attempts

Depending on the delivery provider and destination, the carrier may:

  • deliver the parcel directly to the delivery address;

  • leave the parcel in an appropriate location;

  • leave the parcel with a neighbour;

  • request a signature;

  • leave instructions for collection; or

  • make one or more additional delivery attempts.

These procedures are determined by the relevant carrier and may vary according to the destination.

8. Delayed Deliveries

Although we aim to ensure that orders arrive within the estimated delivery timeframe, delays can occasionally occur.

Delays may be caused by circumstances including:

  • courier or postal service disruption;

  • adverse weather;

  • public holidays;

  • customs or border procedures;

  • incorrect address information;

  • unusually high parcel volumes;

  • operational disruptions;

  • strikes or industrial action;

  • technical problems; or

  • other events outside our reasonable control.

Where an order is delayed, please check any available tracking information first.

You can also contact us at contact@sigtea.com and we will make reasonable efforts to assist.

Nothing in this section limits any statutory rights you may have regarding delivery.

9. Orders That Appear to Be Lost

If your parcel appears to have been lost in transit, please contact us at:

Email: contact@sigtea.com

Please provide your order number and any relevant tracking information.

We may need to contact the delivery provider to investigate the shipment.

Where an order is confirmed as lost and SIGTEA is responsible under applicable law, we will take appropriate steps to resolve the issue, which may include arranging a replacement or issuing a refund where required.

10. Damaged Packages

If your package arrives visibly damaged, please inspect the contents as soon as reasonably possible.

Where appropriate, take photographs of:

  • the outer packaging;

  • the shipping label;

  • any visible damage; and

  • the affected product.

Contact us at contact@sigtea.com as soon as reasonably possible and provide your order details together with any relevant photographs or information.

This may help us investigate the issue more efficiently.

If the goods themselves are damaged or do not conform to the contract, your statutory consumer rights will apply.

11. Incorrect or Missing Items

If you receive an item that you did not order, or an item is missing from your order, please contact us at:

Email: contact@sigtea.com

Please provide your order number and details of the items received.

We will investigate the issue and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement, refund or other appropriate remedy.

12. Multiple Items in One Order

Where an order contains several products, the items may occasionally be dispatched separately.

This can happen for operational or fulfilment reasons.

If your order is delivered in more than one parcel, delivery dates may differ.

Where tracking is available, separate tracking information may be provided for the relevant shipments.

13. Customs, Duties and Taxes

For deliveries outside the United Kingdom, additional customs duties, import taxes or other charges may apply depending on the destination country's laws and regulations.

Where such charges apply, they may be payable by the customer unless otherwise stated at checkout.

SIGTEA does not control the customs procedures, tax rules or fees imposed by authorities in destination countries.

Customers ordering from outside the United Kingdom are responsible for complying with applicable import requirements.

14. International Shipping

Where SIGTEA makes international shipping available, delivery times and procedures may vary substantially between countries.

International orders may be affected by:

  • customs processing;

  • import regulations;

  • border controls;

  • local delivery services;

  • taxes or duties;

  • local holidays; and

  • other destination-specific circumstances.

Any estimated international delivery timeframe should therefore be treated as an estimate only.

15. Refused or Undeliverable Packages

A parcel may be returned to SIGTEA if:

  • the delivery address is incorrect or incomplete;

  • the recipient cannot be identified;

  • the parcel is repeatedly not collected;

  • the recipient refuses delivery;

  • applicable import requirements are not completed; or

  • the carrier is otherwise unable to complete delivery.

If a package is returned to us, we will contact you where reasonably possible to determine whether a further delivery attempt can be arranged.

Additional shipping charges may apply where a new delivery is requested because the original delivery failed for reasons attributable to the customer, where permitted by law.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

16. Delivery to Safe Places or Neighbours

Where the delivery provider offers the option to nominate a safe place or neighbour, the delivery may be completed in accordance with the instructions provided by the customer or applicable carrier procedures.

Customers should only nominate a location that is reasonably secure and appropriate for receiving parcels.

SIGTEA is not responsible for loss or damage arising solely from delivery instructions supplied by the customer, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

17. Responsibility for Goods During Delivery

Where you are a consumer, responsibility for the goods generally remains with SIGTEA until the goods come into the physical possession of you or a person you have identified to receive them, subject to applicable law.

This means that simply handing the goods to a delivery provider does not automatically transfer the risk of loss or damage to you where consumer law provides otherwise.

18. Delivery Delays Caused by Events Outside Our Control

SIGTEA will not be responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, transport disruption, industrial disputes, government action, network or telecommunications failures, or other unexpected events.

Where such circumstances affect your order, we will take reasonable steps to minimise the impact and provide assistance where appropriate.

This provision does not remove or limit any statutory consumer rights.

19. Delivery and Your Statutory Rights

When selling goods to consumers in the United Kingdom, SIGTEA is subject to applicable consumer protection legislation.

Where a delivery deadline has been agreed as essential, or where delivery has not taken place within the period required by applicable law, you may have specific legal rights, including in some circumstances the right to terminate the contract and obtain a refund.

Nothing in this Shipping Policy is intended to exclude, restrict or replace those rights.

20. Contact Us About Shipping

When contacting us, please include your order number whenever possible so that we can locate your order and assist you efficiently.

21. Changes to This Shipping Policy

We may update this Shipping Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our shipping arrangements, fulfilment processes, delivery providers, website or legal requirements.

The version in force at the time of your purchase will generally apply to that order, unless a change is required by law.

The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when this policy was most recently updated.
